September 23, 2016 Night

Good evening! Mostly cloudy and 57 degrees in North Syracuse. There is a north breeze at 7 mph. Feels a bit chilly outside. The dew point is 52 degrees. The skies will clear around 1 am.

The Full “Hunter” Moon is on Sunday, October 16th at 4:23 am.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high of 64 degrees at 4pm. Five degrees below normal. Maximum dew point of 46 at 6am. Light north wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. The record high of 87 was set in 1961.

In four weeks on October 21 the sun will be setting at 6:10 pm, which is 47 minutes earlier then tonight. The average high is 58 degrees, and the record for that date is 81 degrees was set back in 1979.

Cool but only “patches” of frost are expected this weekend up at Moose River Plains … You may have to wait another week for peak colors this year at Moose River.

  • Friday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 42 degrees at 5am. North wind 5 to 8 mph.
  • Saturday will be sunny, with a high of 57 degrees at 2pm. Maximum dew point of 41 at 7am. North wind 5 to 13 mph.
  • Saturday night will be mostly clear, with a low of 34 degrees at 5am. 14  North wind 6 to 9 mph. The record low of 29 occurred back in 1963.
  • Sunday will be sunny, with a high of 55 degrees at 3pm. Maximum dew point of 35 at 4pm. Northwest wind 6 to 10 mph.
