It was some what muddy, but it didn't bother me much, especially having nice and waterproof boots. The gravel on the truck trail helped too.

How the Average High is Sort of A Lie
The average high temperature reported on the news is actually a lie. 🌡
They don’t usually report the average high but the climate normal high, which is not the average of recorded high temperatures over the past thirty years but a smoothed data set that has various adjustments to account for missing data and errors in measurements, along with suppressing other statistical anomalies like record breaking heat or cold on any one particular day.

Henry Hudson
On Sunday evening, due to US 9W being closed down I ended up going down to the Henry Hudson River Park and sitting in my truck and watching the birds and wildlife along the river for about a half hour. It’s nice sitting down there, especially on a cold day, just looking out and thinking for a while.
