More about Acra Point...

A mountain with excellent views of Big Hollow, the Blackhead Mountains, Burnt Knob, and surrounding lands. There are also views to the north-east of Greenville, the Alcove Reservoir, the Hudson River, Coeymans, and Albany on a clear day.

A popular route is to take Burnt Knob Trail to the Long Path, then south on the Long Path across Acra Point, then winding through the woods for two miles with only one view of Catskill Roundtop. You then descend the mountain via the Batavia Kill trail, pass the Batavia Kill Lean-To.
