The DEC about five years ago installed all these signs to label various trails at Partridge Run. The signs where mostly quickly stolen. One of the remaining ones.

Speaking of how well plowed Shultes Road was, until you got past the last house, and it was unplowed and completely untraveled by snowmobiles to pack the snow down. The snow was 4-6 feet deep, and tough going.

A rather hazy, cloudy day out skiing at the Partridge Run Game Area one weekend several years ago. This picture is taken at the gravel pit on Henry Hill, and is considered one of the highest elevations in Albany County -- officially it though looking at LIDAR data I have my doubts, as I found a higher point outside of Rensselaerville.

At least one can see the parking area from here. There was something so beautiful looking out at this rural road, I used to so frequently visit, but I do not go up to Partridge Run as much as I used to as a younger child, when I lived not so far away in Westerlo.
