It's quite amazing how much traffic is on this Amtrak line going between Albany and New York City. You would think a relatively small city like Albany would not justify so much rail service or such long trains.

Nutten Hook – Stockport Middle Ground
Have you have paddled out from Stockport Station boat launch to Stockport Middle Ground or Nutten Hook and camped at the free, primitive campground on the Hudson River? Just watch for the tides, they can make it difficult to get in and out of the Stockport Station Kayak Launch.
