Boardwalk

At the end of my hike on Saturday, I walked down to Long Pond down to the boaat launch on the west end of the lake. It was close to sunset, and while the leaves were mostly gone around the lake, it was still a beautiful ending to a nice day.

Bennington View

The reds were quite strong looking east to Bennington. For a while taking in the view, and seeing Stratton Mountain in the distance, I was kicking myself for not bringing my camping gear. But I am content with just enjoying the view, and heading home. I can always go back to Vermont later in November.
