C&O Canal Towpath 📍

There is a remarkable amount of locks along the Cumberland and Ohio Canal. I can only imagine the staff needed to keep it running being a major cost of operations.

When I was exploring the Paw Paw tunnel, I took the bike path from the main C&O Canal Trail and poked around Paw, Paw, WV for a while. Not a lot to see there for sure.

As the afternoon progressed, more clouds pushed in from the west as I was riding along the C&O Trail outside of Cumberland.
