About South Swan Street - North Swan Street ....
In 1970, when they tore down the Hawk Street Viaduct, they proposed a bridge to connect South Swan Street to North Swan Street and Clinton Avenue. The city and state's declining finances along with the bottoming out of the neighborhood in Arbor Hill lead the project to be abandoned, but as you can see from the tax map, the state still owns these lands.
