I think decimal numbers are stupid, nothing in nature grows in power of ten. Most things are like duckweed they double.

Children would be much better educated if they learned how to do math in binary, and to write numbers down in hexadecimal. No addition or times tables to memorize, only the conversion table from binary to hexadecimal.

But beyond that, I do think the whole controversy over 8647 and former FBI Director James Comey is silly. Double ententes have a long history in politics, and often the secondary meaning of words is both offensive and abusive.

For a threat to be an actual threat, it has to be the widely understood meaning, and it has to be specific, immediate and actionable, and not some vaguely offensive term that in some intreprations could be seen as threatening.
