How does the Pennsylvania Wilds compare to Adirondack Park?
Pennsylvania Wilds - 5.3 million acres
Public Lands - 2.1 million acres (National Forest, State Forest, State Game Commission Lands)
Adirondack Park - 6 million acres
Public lands - 2.6 million acres (Wild Forest and Wilderness)
I've noticed in driver's ed classes, they try to trick New York drivers by asking the question are Even Route numbers North-South or East-West? Always ask if you are asking about state or federal-designated touring routes.
Well, if you are talking about NYS Touring Routes, even route numbers are North-South. But if you are talking about US Highways and Interstate highways even routes are East-West.
