348 Russia Road, Poland, NY is the farthest location from any state border in New York State -- it is the pole of inaccessibility. 4776 Pratts Road, Stockbridge, NY is the centroid of New York State, which is the literal center of the state.
I wonder how many times random police and EMTs show up at the farm gravel pit on 4776 Pratts Road. Often centroids are used default coordinates, although usually they will lock that address in 911 systems, or redirect it to somewhere non-sensible like the middle of a lake. Although, I have a feeling Madison County 911 dispatcher probably has that address suppressed or locked, so they won't send police or EMS there unless they get some kind of manual over-ride.
