"As one of the first technologies used to generate electricity, hydroelectric power has historically provided the largest share of renewable electricity generation in the United States. However, this year EIA expects wind power to surpass hydroelectricity, based on forecasts in the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook. Different factors lead to uncertainty about the forecast level of electricity generation from each energy source."

This weekend, at least on Saturday will be much nicer then last year. Looking at 49 degrees with sun to start out the weekend on Saturday morning, then more clouds and rain showers by later in the evening. 45 degrees and showers on Sunday. Here is what we had last year in 2017 …

On Sunday 01/29/17 we had snow and mostly cloudy skies with high of 40 and a low of 25, which is nine degrees above normal.

On Monday 01/30/17 we had snow and mostly cloudy skies with high of 30 and a low of 17, which is a degree below normal.

On Tuesday 01/31/17 we had snow, mist and cloudy skies with high of 26 and a low of 11, which is six degrees below normal.

On Wednesday 02/01/17 we had snow, mist and mostly cloudy skies with high of 40 and a low of 22, which is eight degrees above normal.

On Thursday 02/02/17 we had snow and mostly cloudy skies with high of 35 and a low of 18, which is three degrees above normal.
