February 13, 2017 Morning

“I had a dream last night that my pet bobcat woke me up late for work because my alarm clock lost power in the storm last night. While I don’t own a pet bobcat, I did lose power briefly and my cell phone alarm woke me up. Which is good as I don’t want some secretive wild cat smacking me in the face on a Monday morning.”

Good morning! Monday’s come back around again. Stay warm, bundle up. Next Monday is Presidents Day. Blowing snow and 30 degrees in Delmar, NY. Breezy, 24 mph breeze from the northwest. The current wind chill is 16. The skies will clear around 2 pm.

Today will be scattered snow showers, mainly before 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high of 31 degrees at 12pm. Three degrees below normal. Windy, with a northwest wind 24 to 29 mph, with gusts as high as 47 mph. Maybe God will get a speeding ticket? Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. A year ago, we had snow and a high of 20 degrees. The record high of 58 was set in 1900. 9 inches of snow fell back in 1893.
