September 28, 2016 Morning

Good morning! The final Wednesday of September, it will be quite nice. Mostly sunny and 56 degrees in Liverpool. There is a east-southeast breeze at 6 mph. The dew point is 47 degrees.

Today will be sunny, with a high of 75 degrees at 3pm. Eight degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 52 at 5pm. East wind 6 to 9 mph. The record high of 83 was set in 2014. The sun will set at 6:49 pm with dusk around 7:18 pm, which is 1 minutes and 47 seconds earlier than yesterday. Today will have 11 hours and 49 minutes of daylight, a decrease of 2 minutes and 54 seconds over yesterday.

Nice morning for a little walk down along Onondoga Lake. This time i walked down by the Salt Museum from the Yacht Club then also along the long forgotten creek at the border of the park. I was thinking about going back down to Green Lakes, but I didn’t really get an early enough of a start to do that. Still only very occasional color, but then again, this area doesn’t get much color until another 2-3 weeks. It’s not like the higher elevation locations.

A lunch time I have to get out for a nice walk, because rain and clouds are expected for the second half of the week ….

Tonight will have a chance of showers, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low of 56 degrees at 6am. 10 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 53 at 8pm. East wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. The record low of 29 occurred back in 2000.

There are 2 weeks until Yom Kippur when the sun will be setting at 6:25 pm with dusk at 6:54 pm. The average high temperature is 61 degrees, with a record high of 85 in 1954.
