Good morning! Today is  National Dog Day. Definitely the dog days of summer.   Cloudy and 75 degrees in Delmar, NY. There is a south breeze at 5 mph. The dew point is 70 degrees.  I’m dripping from loading up my truck. The skies will clear around 10 am.

Watch for scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high of 87 degrees at 3pm. Nine degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 71 at 9am. South wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northwest in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. The record high of 98 was set in 1948.
