In 1920, the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution is ratified, guaranteeing women’s suffrage. I don’t think Donald Trump is much of a fan of that admendment.

And 18 years later in 1938, the Thousand Islands Bridge, connecting New York, United States with Ontario, Canada over the Saint Lawrence River via Wellesley Island, is dedicated by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It remains the primary crossing of St. Lawerence River, where Interstate 81 drops down to two undivided lanes. It’s narrow but continues to serve it’s purpose. I’m sure at some point in the future it will be replaced with a modern interstate bridge.
