March 7, 2016 Night

Good evening! Currently cloudy and 45 degrees with calm wind. Not a bad evening for the second Monday in March.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Light west wind. A mild evening about 13 degrees above normal. The record low of -2 degrees was set back in 1989. Nowhere near the record tonight.

Tonight will have 12 hours and 23 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 2 minutes and 54 seconds over last night. Tomorrow the sun will rise at 6:16 am with the first light at 5:48 am, which is 1 minutes and 42 seconds earlier then today.

Tonight we will have a Waning Crescent Moon with 8% illuminated. It will rise at 5:19 am. Almost the new moon. The New Moon is on Wednesday.

Warm mild but cloudy weather continues tomorrow. Look for a high near 56. Light and variable wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. 15 degrees above normal. The record high of 68 degrees was set back in 2012.

The average high in four weeks on Tuesday April 5th is 53 degrees, and the record for that date is 79 degrees was set back in 1950.

It long day but a pretty good day. Things moving closer to the weekend and springtime. Currently watching the PBS Newshour. I went for my evening walk a bit earlier then normal.

Still been looking at the candidates but I’ve lately begin to start to like Hillary Clinton. I’m not crazy about all her political positions but she seems like a good basic liberal, not too exciting. I don’t think her power should be unchecked, and indeed I would hope Congress and the Supreme Court would aggressively push back on the president’s power.

I hope you had a good day. Sleep well!
