October 6, 2015 morning

Good morning. Currently 51 degrees and sunny this morning. Later it will be 70 degrees and sunny. Generally, a nice fall day. Most of this week is expected to continue this pattern.

Heading into work early as I have a morning appointment and didn’t want to get in late because of a bus issue. I also got an early start, so I figured I would catch the earlier bus downtown. More traffic on Delaware Ave at this hour. Traffic is moving well heading downtown via 787.

Tomorrow I’m getting the tires rotated and the truck inspected. It’s a 7:30 appointment but then I’ll have it done. Probably set my alarm clock for 5:45 A.M. because I’m not a real morning person. But Thursday and Friday mornings it won’t be as much of a rush. Saturday and Sunday I will probably be up before dawn as I need the daylight for travel, stopping places, and getting set up at camp before dusk. Days don’t last long these times of year.

Saturday will come before I know it. I’ve been planning and preparing for the trip but ultimately the best plans tend involve. Part of an adventure is the adventure part of it. Stuff happens, as candidate Jeb Bush once said.
