September 10, 2015 morning

Good morning on this dreary Primary Day in New York State. This morning is damp with light rain and 68 degrees. The dewpoint remains around 67 degrees which is why it’s so damp outside.

You are going to need an umbrella for going to the polls this evening with heavier rain expected this evening. 74 degrees for the high. But if you have working windshield wipers you should be okay, and we need the rain with things getting dried out. Might want to leave your pre-1970 car with vacuum driven windshield wipers home because they might not be sufficient on steep hills, with the heavy rain expected south of the city.

Figured out who I’m going to vote for primary day. I don’t do the whole ticket thing, I’ll probably vote to put Democrats into office who are diametrically opposed to one and another. Diversity in government is a good thing. I’m not a fan of incumbents for the most part but I’m willing to keep an open mind. Keeps political insiders on their toes.

The consensus for the weekend is not an washout but rain and clouds at times will make for subpar conditions for camping. Labor Day Weekend was so delightful so you got to pay for the nice weather somehow.
