August 21, 2015 evening

Good evening on this pleasant Saturday evening. 68 degrees and partly clear this evening. A nice change from the heat and humidity of the past week. The sun sure sets early now. The stars are decent but with some clouds.

Went to go sit down out back in the camp chair and I got soaked as there was still a puddle in it from last night’s rain. Stupid me, I shouldn’t have left the chair out but I’m still kind of limited on how far I can walk.

Friday night just stuck at home with a book. I sure wish I could just walk down to the park or the library, but I know sure as heck that isn’t possible. I could drive to either of those places but it gets dark early now and it’s still a challenge to get in my big jacked up truck. My ankle isn’t really painful most of the time and I can walk further and faster than before but I still have a long way to go. At times it certainly still aches especially if I put two much weight on it. Not pain like slamming fingers in a car door but achy like when you get a cold. The bus stop just around the corner seems like a long walk with the sprain boot. I also hate just driving around town. Open roads are fine but I hate city traffic.

Continuing to work on redesigning maps. I really don’t like the last batch of changes so I’m working on developing some nicer versions. But it’s still a work in progress.
