Good morning, Happy Wednesday.

Good morning, Happy Wednesday. We are at 54 degrees and partly sunny. 72 degrees later, with a sunset at 8:28 PM. Full moon tonight.

The weekend continues to look moderately nice but cool by June standards. That said, it’s going to rain Friday evening so the woods will be pretty wet. Regardless, I’m staying in town.

Still I have two trips planned for the next couple of weeks. Next weekend I am going to head out to Brookfield, assuming the weather is half decent. July 4th weekend, it’s off to Moose River Plains, I think. In the meantime if it’s exceptionally hot, I will head to Pisceo-Powley Road and the Potholers.

Mid-July I plan to go out to the Finger Lakes and hike the gorges in the summer heat then go for a swim at the many gorge parks. With the Empire Passport I can visit as many of the parks as I want. It was a fun trip two years ago and I expect similarly this year.

I’m stuck in the office all day today but it looks like it will be a real nice day so get out and enjoy it!
