May 30, 2015 evening

The first band of rain has reached Albany and while it was intense it was short. It remains around 76 degrees with a sticky dewpoint of 69.

Heavier rain is expected by morning with temperatures decreasing throughout the night and into the morning.

Over the next day Albany is expected to get 1-2 inches of rain the heaviest on Monday. Not record breaking but still much needed after the dry spring conditions. Even after the rain, we’ll be starting June with a deficit.

Have a great evening. At this point you should be dry for a few more hours.
