May 4, 2015 evening

Currently 72 degrees in Delmar with today’s heat breaking. Today reached 87 for the first time since early August 2014. If today was in 2014, it would have been the second or third hottest day of the year. Not too oppressive as the humidity is low but still toasty. Prime wildfire weather in the mountains.

Tonight will drop to 59 degrees by daybreak and the warm spell will continue into tomorrow with temperature expected to reach 77 degrees tommorow. I much prefer this heat to the frigid winter that only ended a few weeks ago.

Good night. Sleep well and be safe with fire.
