As parking needs fall, City Hall weighs reduced requirements
I've always thought that requiring parking spots in new construction is a little like requiring a certain square footage for smoking rooms. I guess it makes sense if your trying to promote smoking in your building. Smoking after all, is good for your health. Automobiles don't smoke, especially if you use the electric ones that only burn coal.
