Good morning all, it’s Thursday. Kind of a gray winter day in the beginning of February. Tomorrow is Friday but that’s kind of meaningless except in the sense that it’s one more Friday closer to endless summer.

Winter is pretty harsh and bleak in the northeast, but it doesn’t last forever. The cold and snow must eventually succumb to the increasing angle of the sun. The snow will melt and eventually the land will green up.

I’ve toyed with the idea of getting a snowmobile as that might make the winter months less of a drag — but it seems like we don’t get the kind of snow we used to get. Plus with insurance and fuel, they are fairly expensive to operate. Almost prefer to just stay home and sleep in non-work days until winter is done.
