Happy Wednesday. First Hump Day of August.

Good Morning! Happy Wednesday. It’s already midway through the week, and so far this morning is pretty nice weather-wise. It was a delightful walk down to the Park and Ride lot, not too hot, but things are still a bit damp out from last night’s heavy rain.

It Really Poured Last Night. I was going to stay at work until 6:15 PM last night, but decided to stay later because it was raining so hard. When I went to catch the 6:45 PM bus it was still pouring, and the windows had been open the bus, so it was kind of wet inside of the bus. Traffic was really bad on Delaware Avenue, I think the power may have been out a few of the traffic lights due to the storm.

Really Enjoy the Walk Down to the Park and Ride Lot. I’ve made it a major priority of mine to do more walking every day, because I hadn’t been doing it as much, and it started to feel like I was putting on some weight. Besides the evening walk, taking a walk down to the Park and Ride lot in the morning, so far has been quite enjoyable. I am sure we will have some bad weather days or I will be lake, and be stuck riding the local bus to work, but so far the walk plus the express bus is quite invigorating.

Lately there hasn’t been much real hot weather. The past few days have been warm, but not real hot and humid. It’s been really quite nice lately. By the time I get home, usually around 6 or 7 PM, the heat had dropped to the point where the desk fan is plenty to stay cool. Then again, it also helps that I’ve been getting home fairly late and it’s decently well air conditioned.
