Chilly Wednesday Evening.

A Chilly Wednesday Evening. Today was mostly not pouring, but still pretty cold and wet for most of the day. In the afternoon, downright blustery. It could be snow, but I think we are beyond that point now, and it seems like most mornings now are warm enough to leave the windows open.

Still much too cold out tonight. But there isn’t much one can do about that, although I can say the cold weather can’t last much longer.

Like is almost always the case, raced out to the bus stop this morning, although fortunately the bus was plenty late, so I had a few minutes at the bus stop, despite the traffic lights not really cooperating with me as I tried to cross the street. I’ve gotten to like the Route 719 – it’s so nice not having to deal with the local bus in the morning. I’ve gotten to the point where I try to avoid taking the Route 18 local whenever possible.

With the rain and warmer temperatures the grass is starting to green up. That said, the trees and foliage are much behind recent years for springtime foliage. This springtime was cold, an unusual thing for recent years. At some point though, winter must succumb to the greater sun angles, and spring must occur once again.

Tomorrow Taking Big Red to Shop to Fix Windshield Washer Leak. They think it will be ready by the afternoon. There apparently is also another recall on the transmission for a part that they have to fix. I just go to have the truck back by the weekend, so I can take my trapper class. They said at the shop they expected to have both things fixed on Thursday. I hope so.
