A Go-Go Summer 🩴

Once I get my truck cap, I plan to do a lot more traveling. While the epic trip will be Michigan come August, I plan to spend as much of the summer and autumn out of town, on the road and in the back country once I get I get my truck cap and equipment mostly installed. Not going to have everything completed right away – no diesel heater, no cellphone booster initially – but I will have 200 watts of solar, the two batteries from my old truck, the shelf, lights and other gear for camping.

The way I look at it is with having done no real trips this spring time or even all the winter, I feel like I don’t have to say no too many trips this summer, and the truck should provide many reliable trips. With the bigger alternators, the 200 watts of solar, I should be able to pack and just set up camp without having to worry about running the batteries too low once everything is wired up. Hopefully get out and enjoy many long weekends at Piseco-Powley and also Moose River Plains this summer, and work remote from Green Mountains and Perkisn Clearing.
