Maybe this is the best weekend to get out for now 🌥️

Looks like it will be a pretty good morning once the sun comes out, even if rain showers are expected Sunday and then cold, snow showers Monday into Tuesday. I am not going out to Madison County but I probably will do an overnight after riding and exploring today.

I figure get out and explore while I still have Big Red 🛻. If there isn’t a lot of snow come December I’ll probably do Madison County maybe after Christmas if Boxing Day becomes a state holiday, or potentially earlier in the month once rifle season is done. 🦌 Certainly the Horse Camp 🐴 is a good option even if there is a few inches of snow, but not so much that the road back there is impassable.

But today I’ll probably head out to Schoharie or maybe just Rensselearville State Forest depending on the time and weather. 🏕️ It would be nice to have a fire up in the woods. 🔥 Hang out, enjoy the long November nights when it’s not so cold out, though I plan to stop in Greenville on the way out for propane. It would be kind of fun to ride the Catskill Scenic Trail if not cloudy and crap weather all day with the wind whipping around. It’s certainly mild and they say we’ll have some sun. The alternative I’ve been considering is Bear Pen Mountain. That was fun when I did that like five years ago now.
