Moffitt Beach is a popular family campground and day-use area located on the shores of Sacandaga Lake, near the village of Speculator, New York. Located in the heart of the Adirondack Park, it offers a sandy beach for swimming and a boat launch, with many campsites situated directly on the water.
Beach and swimming
Sandy shore: The campground has a natural sand beach on Sacandaga Lake.
Supervised swimming: Swimming is permitted in the designated beach area during lifeguard hours, which typically run from mid-June through Labor Day.
