Those mild mornings won’t last forever 🌅

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s usually much colder when I’m camping at Rennselaerville State Forest because I usually camp up here during the autumn through early spring when the mercury is normally much cooler.

Yesterday was quite colorful with the colors of late summer 🍁 before the leaves really start to pop. It was a nice day of leisurely strolls in the woods, 🌲 reading 📖 and just hanging out. Mornings though are dark now as are the evenings. 🔥 Had a nice fire but I was tired 😴 and retired to bed fairly early.

Today I have some work to do, 🖥 reviewing a campaign plan and more data jobs and then I’ll go for a hike at Huyck Preserve and then out to the folks house 🏡 for Sunday dinner. I’m not sure if the bike 🚲 shop is open on Monday but maybe Tuesday I can pick up my bike and get back on the road. Watching the forecast for next week, maybe I’ll head to Vermont depending on the weather as soon as Thursday evening, though I work late on Thursdays which means this time of year it will be driving 🚘 in the dark through Moose country and setting up in the dark. 🦌 Which isn’t so cool. I could leave Friday morning, but then I would hit the traffic in Albany and Troy depending on how I go.
