If you need special biodegradable camp soap, your polluting the water 🧼

I often really piss off the greenies and the leave no trace folks when I say speciality biodegradable camp soap is stupid. Basically all modern dish detergent and bathroom hand soap is biodegradable.

So called camp soap, while heavily marketed is no better. But it encourages bad, polluting behavior by discouraging people from washing dishes away from water sources. It’s much better to properly manage your camp waste water and dump it away from camp and water bodies then worry about speciality camp soap.
