Daily Update – August 30, 2022

Good morning! Two more days of August left. Two more days that are on average 80 degrees.

Though it seems like summer refuses to kick the bucket. Though I’ll probably feel different when I’m heading to Spectulator before work for my Labor Day Weekend camping trip as summer winds down.

Partly cloudy and 73 degrees in Delmar, NY. ⛅ There is a south breeze at 7 mph. The dew point is 69 degrees. The sun is rising though it’s very humid but the breeze helps.

Out for the morning walk 🚶 and I’m just dripping from the sweat 😰. By Thursday it will be a lot cooler with a high near 74. Autumn is approaching. 🍁 Going to be warm again for the weekend but will be nice up north.

I was hoping to catch the express bus 🚏downtown but somehow I ended up running 🏃 late after my breakfast 🍳. It happens sometimes. So I’m taking the local bus downtown. It’s fine, I like the extra steps that I get in and the quicker ride on the express but it doesn’t matter.

Yesterday I finally got to Walmart 🛒 to get much needed groceries and supplies. Been two weeks since I last shopped so I really was pretty much out of everything.
