Good Morning – December 28, 2021

Further evidence that summer is coming.

Mostly cloudy and 33 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁ There is a south breeze at 5 mph. 🍃. Temperatures will drop below freezing at around 11 pm. ☃️

Sidewalks are a bit icy this morning ❄ and there was a bit of drizzle when I left home but it seems like it’s clearing out a bit.

Getting a free ride to work today 🚍 as the fare box on the bus is broken. Annoying how the fare box keeps beeping. 🛎 Taking the earlier express in, I’ll probably walk the Plaza for a while before work so I can get my steps in.

Still been trying to do 10,000 steps a day, 🚶 which is roughly 5 miles. Last week I crossed 100 days with my step counter and a day later I reached 500 miles walking since mid September. It’s tough though with the dark and cold evening – I walked yesterday evening but rarely do after I walk home from the express in the evening. 😴
