Good Morning – December 27, 2021

Good morning! Christmas is done and Only 5 Days Left of 2021. 🎄 🎁 🔥

Hopefully you didn’t set the pasture on fire burning boxes and wrapping paper yesterday. Because there is plenty of videos of people doing crazy shit like that on interwebs and yesterday was a bit windy, although at least locally things were still pretty wet and icy.

Partly clear and 29 degrees in Delmar, NY.  🌅 There is a north-northwest breeze at 5 mph. 🍃. At some point the sun will rise. Cold day ahead around dirty-thirty, things will start to thaw out at tomorrow around 7 am. 🌡️ Everything will be so dirty from all the salt and sand they’re applying to the roads to keep people slip-sliding along.

Another dark morning, but that is to be expected this time of year. 🌃 At some point the sun will rise, or so we tell ourselves. Actually, it’s already starting to get a bit light out. And I get up as I like to walk laps on the plaza before work. 🏃‍♀️ It’s good exercise and I just like being up early and then to bed early. Makes me happier, I sleep better and I just feel more relaxed. Good for the mental health side of things I think. And what I think is really what matters. I don’t give a darn about you think.

Four Day Work Week. 🎆 As Friday is New Years Eve and Saturday is the New Year. Twenty-twenty-two. There is a lot of 2s in next year, but hopefully it won’t be a crappy year. 💩 Got to make that money. 💵 Especially because I ended up sending $130 at Wally World last night, although I did get a lot of things including an electric blanket, so I’m not so cold at night when I’m stubborn and refuse to turn up the heat. And undershirts, because I’ve lately not been washing my clothes every week, and it seems like the thing I run out of first is undershirts without a lot of holes in them.

I’ve wanted an electric blanket for some time now, 🛌 and they had an after-Christmas sale for $33 at Walmart for a full-size bed, which is about $15 less then what I saw online. I wanted something I could get warm quickly under without turning up the heat or using the space heater. Will it save that much money? I don’t know, but it sure is comfortable to lay under in cold weather.
