Good Morning – December 18, 2021

Good morning! Happy Bake Cookies Day 🍪 !

Hopefully they won’t come out as crispy as the ones I had made for work. Black cookies matter! They are still good globs of lard and sugar, despite maybe cooked a bit too long.

Cloudy and 35 degrees in Delmar, NY. Snow, rain, ice and a general mixed back later, but not yet. ❄ There is a north breeze at 6 mph. 🍃. Temperatures will drop below freezing at around 2 pm. ☃️ Slip sliding away.

I am going to head out to Tractor Supply 🚜 to get my propane tank filled and then test my stove and heater to make sure they are working properly again. Then probably tomorrow I’ll head out to the Finger Lakes National Forest ⛺ to camp for the balance of the week – I have it off and it would be nice to get away for a few days. I am going to watch the snow and ice predictions and then decide based on them my exact plans – I’m thinking the Finger Lakes but maybe Central NY or the Adirondacks.
