Good Morning – October 19, 2021

Good morning! Happy Average High is 60 🍂 !

Not quite as dark this morning with clear skies but that’s mostly due to the time of year – late October. Cold start to the day.

Mostly sunny and 41 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☀ There is a west breeze at 5 mph. 🍃

It might be a cool start to the morning 🍂🍁 but it was a very pleasant walk 🚶 down to the express bus stop 🚏. Sun angle is much lower now in the morning. Even as the nine o’clock hour rolls around the Empire State Plaza is still heavily in shadow. I might be in denial but winter is coming. Today would have been a good vacation day.

I didn’t get to the store last night. 🥫🍳🥦. I checked my pantry and decided I had enough food 🍲 and was tired after a long day at work. 🚶 I did do my evening walk thought.

I am still chewing 🐮 over the weekend, the forecast doesn’t look great and gas is do expensive ⛽ but I also know it won’t be long before the snow 🌨 arrives in the high country and I won’t have as many options to travel. I do remember how great though the color was at Glimmerglass last year.

Been continuing to work with R and ggplot2, 🖥 most recently trying to plot electoral and demographic data. I want to do some comparisons between party enrollment over time but I’m still trying work out issues with the parsing the old BOE enrollment PDFs.
