Good Morning – August 3, 2021

Good morning! Happy Campfire Day 🔥 !

I heard a rumor that I like to burn things and a campfire is just a more suburbanite version of a bonfire when you have neighbors or a lack of stuff to burn. 🔥 Gawd, I wish I lived out in the country 🐮, I already miss those days of summer vacation.

This morning feels like autumn. 🍂 Mostly sunny and 55 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☀ Calm wind. The dew point is 51 degrees. No fog like in some lower elevations by the mountain ponds.

Today around 1:20 pm is pay day 💰which is good as there really isn’t much money left in the bank 🏦 account today. It will feel good for a couple of hours until the money is gone once again, stuffed away down various rat 🐀 holes for some time in a better future 🔮.

Working from home 🏡 today, or probably more like from the laundromat in my truck. 👕 Does it really matter if you have your cellphone 📱 and laptop 🖥 and work gets done? The days though for remote work are short so you got to maximize them. 🚍 September looms large and the remote work pumpkin 🎃 goes bad and tossed onto the manure pile.
