Good Evening – July 22, 2021

Good evening! Heading home now and getting ready for the Finger Lakes. 🏡

White Rabbit 🐰 plays on the headphones 🎧 as I catch the bus 🚍 home on last in person day in the office 🏢 before vacation. Remote work tomorrow 💻 but even that’s winding down. Come August, things will pretty much be the way they used to be before the pandemic.

Always that day before vacation seems to drag on forever, 🏖 as one dreams off far away places. It’s the dog 🐶 days of summer and things are so quiet at work as things slowly return to normal. Everybody is taking a lot of vacation and we are all so tired after the pandemic and the craziness that was last year.

Partly cloudy and 75 degrees in Albany, NY. ⛅ There is a west-northwest breeze at 9 mph. 🍃. The dew point is 57 degrees. Not too bad of an evening.

It’s official that my enhanced phone plan is done 📱 and I’m back on the data limited plan with no hot spot. If I want to get on the internet beyond my phone I’ll have to walk down to the library. 📚 I’m fine with that I find I’ve been wasting too much time on the internet lately at any rate.
