A really nice evening

A really nice evening. Got out of work at 6:30, strapped on my binoculars and went down to the town park. Saw a beautiful big male cardinal and a red tailed hawk. Also a good sized herd of deer grazing, squirrel and several eastern coattails. The binoculars are heavy to wear around the neck but I’d argue at least today they are worth it for seeing that beautiful red tailed hawk up close.
