Lots of walking

Today I hiked about 9 1/2 miles between hiking out to Five Rivers Environmental Education Center then the big loop out back to Meads Road to the Van Dyke Preserve then out Van Dyke Road to the Delmar Bypass and back home. Saw lots of deer, squirrels and birds.

It wasn’t that truly cold all things considered at least when you were in the sun and out of the wind. It good exercise. I’m getting close to hiking 100 miles for the month mostly around town – roughly five miles a day between the morning and evening walks plus whatever I do on the weekends.
