Been out bird watching at Schodack Island 🐦

  • Lots of song sparrows and robbins
  • Saw a cat bird and a mocking bird
  • Rose breasted Groesbeck – purty
  • A few crows
  • Few grackles, very shinny
  • Not much water in the Schodack Creek, low tide
  • Big flock of geese there, some left the group and joined the group flighing overhead
  • Saw a Great Blue Heron with a fish in its mouth prowling the mud flats for food
  • Been using that Cornell Merlin website a lot for bird identification
  • Saw two rabbits one wasn’t an eastern cottontail
  • No deer yet
