Something exciting happens in town

I saw 7 police cars and 5 fire trucks roar by. I figured it was some pretentious government bureaucrat’s house must be on fire. So I started on my evening walk, not really caring.

Then I thought about it a bit more and decided well maybe the plastics plant down the road is on fire and about to douse the community in hydrochloric acid which is kind of bad to breathe in, especially during a pandemic. I decided it better to head home so I can be close to my truck if an emergency evacuation is necessary should my eyes and lungs start to burn. So far nothing.

Ain’t America a great place to live?
