April 28, 2019 Morning

Good morning! Happy Sunday. Next Sunday is Cinco de Mayo 🤠. Rain and 44 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☔ Calm wind. I feel a bit congested this morning, I think it’s mostly due to the weather. The skies will clear around 5 pm.

Another bad weather day. ☁ No rain just a lot of clouds. Maybe more rain later on. Riding the exercise bike for a while and I should probably get some milk at the store before the rain returns. 🐮 That way I can have some ☕. Then after breakfast I will take a shower 🚿, get cleaned up and go to the store to buy a few things for the week. I never got my jacket to the dry cleaner. Maybe this week. Or maybe I should just use the dry cleaner at the Plaza as then I wouldn’t have to drive there.

Today will have showers likely, mainly between 11am and 3pm. Cloudy 🌦, with a high of 50 degrees at 4pm. 14 degrees below normal, which is similiar to a typical day around March 29th. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. A year ago, we had partly cloudy in the morning, which became cloudy by afternoon. The high last year was 68 degrees. The record high of 92 was set in 1990. There was a dusting of snow in 1966.❄

The sun will set at 7:52 pm with dusk around 8:22 pm, which is one minute and 8 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 At sunset, look for partly clear skies 🌄 and temperatures around 48 degrees. There will be a west-northwest breeze at 10 mph. Today will have 13 hours and 59 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 33 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will have areas of frost after 3am. Otherwise, mostly clear 🌃, with a low of 34 degrees at 4am. Eight degrees below normal, which is similiar to a typical night around April 7th. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight. In 2018, we had light rain. It got down to 38 degrees. The record low of 27 occurred back in 1947.

As previously noted, next Sunday is Cinco de Mayo 🤠 when the sun will be setting at 8:00 pm with dusk at 8:31 pm. On that day in 2018, we had partly sunny and temperatures between 76 and 50 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 66 degrees. We hit a record high of 91 back in 1944.
