I listen to the news less and less these days. 📰

I’m just kind of disinterested on what they are reporting as most of the stories don’t really apply to my life. While once an interested consumer who would listen to WAMC several hours a day, it’s not uncommon for me to only turn the radio on 📻 to catch the weather ☔ then head down to breakfast.

I guess the news effects me but most of it distant places that have little relevance to my life. 🗾 I’m sure it’s terrible that some kids somewhere are trapped in a cave or that the president is nominating yet another judge to the Supreme Court but I struggle to understand the relevance my own life.

It just seems like more and more news is about selling laundry soap and pushing a political agenda, 📢 rather than something that makes all that much of a difference to my own life.
