I am really intrigued by the possibilities of machine learning to detect areas of sprawl and growth…
Especially when 36 years of yearly National Land Cover Dataset data comes out, I can only imagine the possibilities of machine learning and image direction extraction to estimate likely directions of sprawl. While certainly things like town policies, slope and zoning play a roll, I bet you could learn a lot just by looking at land use change over the years and extrapolating out growth in the direction of existing growth. I’m sure there is a way that can be done either with image processing or GIS packages in R.

I should try Greek yogurt again π§
I think I’ve had Greek yogurt at something like legislative Dairy Day but not since I’ve gotten into healthy eating. I’ve shyed away, noting Greek non fat yogurt is heavier in calories, sugar and fat compared to regular yougurt. Plus I use yougurt more as a topping on frozen fruit then a dish on its own.
Greek yogurt supposedly is a lot more bitter. It is more calorie heavy then the lightly sweetened vanilla yougurt I like so much on my frozen fruit. But the thicker richer flavor with more protein is supposed to suppress apatite more and fill you up longer so that could help reduce calories down the line. Maybe it’s worth a try as especially because looking at my nutriental profile I need to start adding more dairy back into my diet for Calcium and Vitamin D without going overboard on the calories.
