Poughkeepsie Interchange
The US 9 - Mid-Hudson Bridge interchange is famous for smashing up cars and it's more unusual configuration built out of one of many acres subject to eminent domain in this very much thrown away downtown for the speeding of motorists, or something like that.

Oil Slick on the Hudson River
These aren't supposed to exist in 2009. At any rate, this had to be a fairly big pool of oil on the river to be visible all the way up on the bridge.
