Oneida Shores County Park

A sandy shallow beach with the dynamic Driver’s Village Playground, breezy picnic grounds, volleyball courts and great views of New York’s largest inland lake create a relaxing waterfront environment. Our family friendly campground, the closest to I81 in the Northeast, ideally suited to late spring, summer and early fall travelers, anglers and Central New Yorkers looking for a quick getaway.

Oneida Shores County Park is open year-round. Season beach and boat launch passes are available to purchase. Our carry in-carry out policy helps protect the environment and litter bags are provided for your convenience. No glass is allowed and alcohol is limited to one six pack per legal adult. No beer kegs. All areas of the park, except the beach, are accessible and pets, if brought to the park, must be on a leash not longer than 6′, inoculated for rabies, and never left unattended.

Oneida Lake

Oneida Lake is the largest lake entirely within New York state, with a surface area of 79.8 square miles. The lake is located northeast of Syracuse and near the Great Lakes. It feeds the Oneida River, a tributary of the Oswego River, which flows into Lake Ontario.
