Located in Empire Plaza, the Empire State Plaza Skating Center offers free skating during the winter months, on one of the plaza’s reflecting pools. It’s open every day from 11am – 8pm, weather dependent. The rink closes daily for maintenance between 3pm and 4pm. Full-service snack bar open Friday nights, weekends, and school holidays.

Skate Rental: $3 for children under 12, $4 for adults. Skate rentals are available whenever the rink is open. A photo ID is required to rent skates. Every Friday is free skate rental courtesy of Hannaford Supermarkets. Skate Lounge & Lockers located on the Plaza.
