Black Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area 📍

While walking on train tracks is never recommended, it's obvious this line along the marsh doesn't get much use by the rust on the rails.

I had trouble locating the trailhead on Hennessey Road, but walking back along the road, I did spot this beautiful view of the Heldebergs through the marsh.

When you head back from Depot Road, the first part of the trail is a series of open fields from an area that looks like at some point in the past was mined for gravel.

I spotted this wood duck swimming along in the marsh this morning.
